KIDS DRAWINGS TURNED INTO PRINTS

- Kids draw animals and then I transfer the drawings onto soft cut blocks and carve the images out.  Sometimes I will add texture or pattern to the image for more interesting or easier printing.   It usually takes a couple weeks to finish a batch of drawings/carvings.  So far I have appx. 75 finished.

"ENGAGING ENSOR" - COLLABORATION WITH MOBILE ARTS PLATFORM OF SF,  AT THE GETTY MUSEUM, L.A.

Worked w/ appx 50 artists to create mask block prints which could be printed onto ID Cards and a Poster that engages kids with the

work of James Ensor via masks as well as the ideas of how they fit into their community.   We had 6 sessions of 3 hours each over the

course of the summer of 2014, with over 3000 kids and adults participating, with an average of 15 to 20 minutes of participation per

person.  The Getty has the hand printed posters of 12 blocks each as well as the flip book in their archives.

BUILD AN ANIMAL PROJECT -  Soft Cut block printing project.

- Kids print different animal heads, bodies, and tales into new combinations and create an all new animal
